Perfect romantic get-away
Wonderful old-school hotel right on the waterfront in Waterford. Been there for over 200 years and full of charm, on top of which the rooms are luxurious, the food and drink are superb and the service is top-notch. The perfect romantic get-away.

Great Stay at the Granville Hotel
We enjoyed our stay for one night at the Granville Hotel. The location was great and car parking was convenient across the street. The room was clean and no complaints!

Good location
Great location. We bicycled the Waterford Greenway, which has beautiful scenery. The hotel is close by a bicycle rental shop and the entrance to the Waterford Greenway.

Heart of Waterford
Great hotel in the heart of Waterford, many attractions within walking distance and shopping.
food in both restaurant and bar is brilliant and have some great cocktails.
Beds are very comfortable and have lovely chairs where you can seat to read or watch TV.

Luxury right in the heart of Waterford
Beautiful and comfortable hotel right in the centre of Waterford. The rooms are spotless and luxurious, expect a really good nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning is the best breakfast in Ireland! Everyone that works there is SO friendly and helpful, makes your stay really special.

Excellent
We recently stayed at this hotel while in Waterford. Overall the stay was excellent, there were no negatives with our stay.
We were checked in by Gabriella, who was polite, mannerly, friendly while being very informative and helpful with the information shared.
We did not eat in the restaurant on this occasion.
Instead we had food and drinks in the bar. The food was excellent from a menu that is very good, something for everyone on it. The set up in the bar with staff was run to a very high standard from our observations. We were impressed.
Breakfast was another positive experience. Again, very well run, good staff and quality food served. The breakfast is cooked to order which I personally prefer.
Staff on check out were again very good. I find check out in hotels can be a thanks and goodbye. However, the checkout staff asked how our stay was and appeared genuinely interested.
The stand out for me during our stay was a manager. I don't know his name. However, he was present in the bar all evening on the Saturday and present during breakfast on the Sunday. The attention to detail stood out. Very professional, directing staff and leading by example on the floor.
We will be back.

We loved Granville!
Awesome hotel in Waterford. I was there on a girls trip celebrating my cousins 40th. It was great there were two beds in the room with a desk. The bar is super cool and the breakfast the next morning was fabulous. Waterford is incredible. Will be back for sure.

Overnight stay
Overnight stay as we were attending a wedding. Very friendly and helpful staff. Left our luggage at the hotel reception when we registered at 11am on our way to the wedding and our bags were in our room when we returned that night. The bedroom was lovely and we enjoyed a great breakfast the next morning. Would return to stay in the hotel again without hesitation.

The place you should stay in Waterford!
Really cool, charming hotel in center of Waterford. Anywhere you want to go in Waterford (crystal house, medieval museum, etc) is in walking distance. Staff was super friendly and on top of things (shout out to Adrian, who went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic stay). Multiple on-site food options (the restaurant was phenomenal, didn't get to try the pub). Car park was easily accessible across the street (and free for booking direct with hotel, which I would recommend doing).

My favourite in Waterford
Having stayed here a few times over the last few decades, the Granville is still my favourite hotel in Waterford. Brilliant location, lovely staff, a great place to wind down after a days work (or sightseeing). Excellent food and quality service!

Great hospitality
You really felt this hotel went above and beyond to ensure guests had a good stay ..small touches like handmade chocolates in the room, bags delivered without asking when the room wasn't ready on check in and the best hotel breakfast I have had

Personal Touch
We received high quality attention and care during our stay during which some of us felt poorly one day and were well advised and felt very safe. We checked in late (self drive trip with a detour to West Cork stone circle) and they kindly confirmed we were OK before we arrived and I felt like our family was ushered in by our Nana and Pa! The amenities and comfort were excellent as expected, but the personal touch was so meaningful.

Fantastic retreat
Fantastic Hotel to stay in, Grand ville Hotel waterford for our four night staycation. Excellent food in both the Restaurant and the bar. All staff members were most helpful and a pleasure to deal with along their great communication's with the customers.I will most definitely recommend this Hotel to friends and family. A great place to stay while seeing Waterford!
The Granville is a luxurious old hotel. The rooms were large and well appointed, the staff was courteous, and the restaurant was excellent. It was obvious that the owner is vested, both financially and timewise, in this fine establishment. We highly recommend the Granville.
