American College Football

On 23rd August, 2025, K-State and Iowa State are headed to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin for the Aer Lingus College Football Classic! Staying in Waterford you'll be have the perfect base and only a short walking distance from public transport options. In your down time, take advantage of your base by exploring Ireland's Ancient East.

Ryder Cup 2027

The Ryder Cup, 2027, is at Adare Manor, Co. Limerick from 13-19 September. Waterford is just over a two hour drive from Adare Manor and is the perfect base if you are travelling for the golf in 2027. All of the hotels in the area are already fully booked with players, sponsors and more so stay away from the action in the Sunny South East. 

Public or private transport to the event is yet to be confirmed so the event is best accessed by car if staying in Waterford via the N24 which is easily accessible from Waterford City.
