Stephen Hooper our Head Chef along with Ann Power our Bar Manager have worked together combining their years of experience in the Granville hotel to develop menus that prioritise our customers varied tastes.
Our drinks collection is carefully curated by our bar staff with a view to truly savouring the different flavours and pairings available. We have created a Whiskey Wall, Gin Wall and have a selection of Worldwide Vodkas with just as many varied options to pair with your chosen drink. We are on hand to offer advice and recommendations so you can find your perfect accompaniment for your drink of choice. With this is mind and as we like only the freshest of ingredients we have created Ireland’s first Rooftop Cocktail Herb Garden.
Our Carvery menu offers a variety of hand carved meats, seasonal vegetables and made in house desserts. This makes our carvery extremely popular with hotel guests, day visitors and local businesses. Meat and fish lovers alike will find plenty to choose from on both our Carvery and Bar Food Menu.
Our bar is named after Thomas Francis Meagher who was born in the Granville Hotel in 1823.
He went on to become Secretary to the territory and Governor of Montana. He was a Pall Bearer at Abraham Lincolns funeral and was originator and designer of our National Irish Tricolour, which was first flown in Waterford in 1848.
